Dunnage bags DOCKER

Dunnage bags

This is a simple and yet a very effective solution to protect cargo transported in containers, on semitrailers, in railway cars, and in holds. Dunnage bugs cushions form a type of a cushion, thus protecting the cargo against blows and dislocation. Thanks to the using of a reusable valve, dunnage bags can be reused many times. It takes a minimum period of time to fill empty spaces with a bag, which makes it possible to generate additional savings, in terms of labour costs.

Parameters and properties

  • Bag design: 1-4 layers
  • Basis weight of paper on the external layer: 100-120 g/m²
  • HDPE internal bag: 170 µ
  • Working pressure inside a bag: up to 0.35 bar
  • To be used with loads up to 20 tons
  • Scope of temperatures: from -30 to +70 °C
  • Safe, reusable valve
  • According to binding standards
  • Simple to adjust
  • Reusable
  • Sizes of bags, taking into account the number of layers

Advantages of dunnage bags

  • The stabilise goods placed on a semitrailer, inside a container, a railway car, or in a hold, and protect it against dislocation
  • Enable transporting of goods inside containers, simultaneously reducing the risk of such transport
  • They can be reusable
  • They minimise the risk of bearing additional costs, when transported goods are destroyed

Stabilising of goods that can be dislocated, during transporting in containers, on semitrailers inside railway cars, or in holds. They are most frequently used in:

  • Sea and ocean freight, using containers
  • Road transport
  • Railway transport
